Background of Regional First Aid
Founded in 2012, Regional First Aid was built on a passion for empowering individuals and businesses with lifesaving skills. Drawing on Jane Purdie’s extensive experience as an enrolled nurse and ambulance officer, the business set out to make high-quality first-aid training accessible to everyday people and professionals. Whether you're a construction business owner juggling compliance requirements, a parent terrified of failing your children in a crisis, or a workplace first aider who thought the role would be simple, Jane gets it. She's seen what happens when people freeze, when outdated training fails under pressure, and when businesses discover their legal obligations only after an investigation.
Based in regional SA, we have grown into a trusted provider across industries like healthcare, construction, education, and community services. Our courses range from First Aid and CPR to Low Voltage Rescue, Medication Training, Sharps and Infection Control, White Card Training, Aged Care Support, and Mental Health First Aid.
Our training is practical and real-world focused, using authentic scenarios to ensure participants feel confident to act in emergencies. We also offer CITB-funded opportunities, making essential training more accessible.
Our mission remains clear as we continue to expand—providing high-quality, innovative training that empowers people to make a difference when it matters most.
